NEREIDA TEXIDOR

Nereida Texidor, age 80, born in Humacao, PR,  lived & spent most of her life in Holyoke, Massachusetts, went home to be with the Lord on January 13, 2026 in Amherst, MA. 

Nereida was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and faithful servant of Christ. Throughout her life, she worked diligently in manufacturing, providing for her family with strength and perseverance. Her work ethic and resilience were evident in all she did.

At a young age, Nereida gave her life fully to Jesus Christ and loved Him with all her heart. Her faith was sincere, joyful, and unwavering. She found great peace and happiness in worship, often singing praises and playing the guitar, using her gifts to glorify God. Her joy, gentle spirit, and love for the Lord touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Wilfredo Santiago and Jacqueline Santiago; and her cherished grandchildren: Janiria, Jacqueline Aines, Jarimar, Jeffrey, Jenise, Jaydah, Dyani, Janaesha, Ian, Randy, Noah, Jacob, Michael, Cruz, Lala, Khaylee, Frankie, Ezra, and Kiel.

She is also survived by her siblings: William, Baldo, Carmen, Angel Luis, Rafael, and Andres.

Nereida will be remembered for her faith, her joyful heart, and her love for her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is rejoicing in the presence of her Savior.
