Maria Lopez Quintana, age 92, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, in Springfield, Massachusetts.

She was born in Moca, Puerto Rico, where she began a life rooted in family, faith, and hard work—values she carried with her throughout her years. Maria was the heart of her family: a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother whose presence brought comfort and joy to generations.

Maria showed her love in the ways she knew best—through her cooking, her open home, and her generous hospitality. No one ever left her table hungry, and no one ever left her home without feeling cared for. Her warmth, strength, and devotion to her family will be remembered always.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, tradition, and togetherness that will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.

She is survived by her children, Blanca Ramos, Iris Ramos, Felix Ramos, Israel Ramos Lopez and his spouse Melba Gonzalez Gonzalez, and Miguel Ramos Lopez and his spouse Julia Lourdes Bosque.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Maribel, Maria, Rosemary, Wanda, Simon, Miguel Angel, Victoria, Jessica, Yomar, Keishla, and Jesus Miguel.

She is survived by her great-grandchildren, Chelsie, Exavier, Jonathan, Gillian, Caitlyn, Nicholas, Harmony, Destinie, Alyssa, Sierra, Alexander, Yalimar, Victoria, Carlos, Yandel, Victor, Kailanny, KaSandra, Elisha, Miguel Angel Jr., and Michael Julian. Great-great grandchildren, Armanii, Rylo and Nova Mianna.

María López Quintana, a la edad de 92 años, falleció en paz el 21 de enero de 2026 en Springfield, Massachusetts.Nació en Moca, Puerto Rico, donde comenzó una vida arraigada en la familia, la fe y el trabajo duro—valores que llevó consigo a lo largo de todos sus años. María fue el corazón de su familia: una madre, abuela, bisabuela y tatarabuela amorosa, cuya presencia brindó consuelo y alegría a generaciones.

María demostró su amor de la manera que mejor sabía—por medio de su cocina, su hogar siempre abierto y su generosa hospitalidad. Nadie se iba de su mesa con hambre, y nadie salía de su hogar sin sentirse querido. Su calidez, fortaleza y devoción por su familia serán recordadas por siempre.

Deja un legado de amor, tradición y unión familiar que continuará vivo en todos aquellos que tuvieron la bendición de conocerla.

Le sobreviven sus hijos: Blanca Ramos, Iris Ramos, Félix Ramos, Israel Ramos López y su esposa Melba González González, y Miguel Ramos López y su esposa Julia Lourdes Bosque.

También le sobreviven sus nietos: Maribel, María, Rosemary, Wanda, Simón, Miguel Ángel, Victoria, Jessica, Yomar, Keishla y Jesús Miguel.
