Margaret “Peggy” (Gracey) Marrero, age 71 of Holyoke, MA walked on with our lord on November 29, 2022.

Peggy leaves her loving children; Shawn Gracey of Springfield, Magdelena Marrero-Feliciano and her husband Luis Feliciano of Holyoke, Moises Garcia and his wife Rosa Guerra of Feeding Hills, Sarah Garcia of South Hadley, Racquel Garcia of Holyoke, Epifanio Garcia Jr. and his wife Miosoti of Hartford, CT, and Angel Velasquez of Holyoke.
She loved every one of her 16 grandchildren: Dimitrius, Brianna, Justice, Isabella, Emily Ann, Onix Jr., Anastazia, Jordan, Avery, Taevian, Aiden, Annie, Ariana, Miofania, Macho, Haven.
Also, leaving her sister Coral Shaddock and her husband Charles of Chicopee and her brother Peter Wager of Delancey, NY, along with several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers: Robert, and Ervin Wager
Peggy dedicated a large portion of her life to the community and children through working and volunteering for both the Holyoke and Springfield Salvation Army for many years. She was a valuable member of many different Christian churches; from Presbyterian, to being baptized Catholic, to becoming a member of Salvation Army (Spanish) Baptist Church. Peggy touched many souls, always taking in anyone in need along the way. Peggy was a mom to all her Community Kids. Doing God’s work with an open hand and heart! She loved being a grandmother the most, “YAJA”. When any of her grandchildren walked into the room her face lit up so brightly. She excelled in sports in high school(softball) and loved arts and crafts.
