Irma Luz Pares, 63, a 50-year resident of Holyoke, MA gained her wings on Saturday, March 16, 2024, in Holyoke Medical Center. She was born March 10,1961 in Humacao, Puerto Rico, a daughter of Nelson Pares and Carmen Luz Nieves. Irma was a resolute wife, mother and a God-fearing woman who will be remembered as being a very passive, caring, compassionate, women and was always willing to put others first. Her smile, the love she had for her family and how she enjoyed her time volunteering at the Casa Maria Shelter in Holyoke, where she helped mothers and children, will never be forgotten. For many years Irma worked as a PCA. She is survived three sons; Juan Reyes, Alejandro Pares and Felipe Oquendo, two daughters-in-law; Brenda Reyes and Krystal Santiago, her adored grandchildren; Emery Reyes, Bryanty Reyes, Izmari Reyes, Brendaly Reyes, Erza Reyes, Dezmen Pares, Alexa Pares, Trinity Pares, Jordan Pares, and Aviana Pares, Siblings; Nelson Pares, Diana Pares, David Pares and Marcos Pares, and Pedro Pares. She also leaves her nieces and nephews with emphasis on Raquel Velazquez Mendez, Steven Velazquez, and Jesus Torres who she cared for and helped raise. Irma will be also missed by extended family and a multitude of friends.
