1939 - 2022

Ida Rivera was born in Corozal, Puerto Rico on September 7th, 1939. She was called home on November 22nd, 2022. She is survived by her children, Ida, Heriberto and Migdalia Narváez, seven grandchildren; Jesús, Ángel, Janice, Zuleyka, José, Egdalise, Bebo and many great grandchildren who carry her in their spirit. Ida Rivera was an avid dominoes and brisca card player. Affectionally dubbed as “La Múcara," Ida Rivera will be remembered for her adult rated sense of humor and the unconditional love she radiated. She will be dearly missed as the matriarch of the Narváez family. May she blissfully rest in peace with a cafecito in hand in the heavens of the abuelitos. Memorial services will be held on November 30th at La Rosa Funeral Home in Holyoke. She will be laid to rest alongside her parents in her native Puerto Rico at Corozal’s Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ida Rivera nació en Corozal, Puerto Rico el 7 de septiembre del 1939. Fue llamada a la casa del señor el 22 de noviembre del 2022. Le sobreviven sus hijos, Ida, Heriberto y Migdalia Narváez, su siete nietos; Jesús, Ángel, Janice, Zuleyka, José, Egdalise, Bebo y muchos bisnietos. Apodada cariñosamente como “La múcara”, le encantaba jugar dominó y brisca. Será recordada por su humor de doble sentido y el amor incondicional que compartía. Que descanse en paz en el cielo de los abuelitos con su cafecito en la mano. El velorio se llevará a cabo el 30 de noviembre en La Rosa Funeral Home en Holyoke. El entierro será junto a sus padres en su tierra natal Puerto Rico en el cementerio Memorial Park en Palmarejo, Corozal, Puerto Rico.
