On Saturday July 21, 2018 Emma Hernandez, daughter, mother, and sister passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She was known to family and friends as “Ñeca” and will forever be remembered as a woman who touched everyone’s heart.

She graduated Holyoke Community College with an associate degree in human services and worked as a Paraprofessional at E. N. White Elementary School in Holyoke. Later on she graduated with a theology degree and was a church member at Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal in Springfield, Massachusetts where she had the passion to teach the word of God.

Emma Hernandez was very family oriented and leaves behind her mother Modesta Cruz, father Efrain Hernandez, son Jorgie Garcia and daughter Yuriko Garcia. She will greatly be missed.
