Music by The Piano Brothers

1948 - 2020

Antia Torres, 72, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at home. Antia was born April 18, 1948 in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico. She grew up and was educated in Puerto Rico. Antia was a graduate of Luis LLorens Torres High School. She was an extremely hard worker, she worked at MRM for 33 years and at Kmart for 12. Antia loved her family and took good care of them.  A fun, loving compassionate person was who she was, everyone who knew her loved her and enjoyed being around her.  She would always tried to help everyone that came to her. Antia was a wonderful mother, a great sister and a fantastic grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She had a strong faithful relationship with her God Jehovah; her faith grew stronger with every bible study she had with Brother Diaz. Antia found a lot of comfort in Scripture Acts 24:15 “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous". Antia was succeeded in death by her husband Manuel Torres, son Luis Antonio Torres and brother William De Jesus. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Araceli Torres of Springfield, two granddaughters Sureina Codrington of Springfield, Khaliah Mercer of Chicopee; three grandsons, Yorel Codrington, Luis Manuel Torres, Devonte Torres, all of Springfield; two great grandchildren, two sisters, Gloria Maldonado of PA, Maria Rodriguez of PR; two brothers, Frankie De Jesus of PR, Felix De Jesus of Springfield.  Antia leaves an impression in our hearts and mind that will never be forgotten.  We Love you!!

My condolences to Chely, family and loveones. My heart is with you. Antía was a great person, great mother, great sister, great friend, and a great worker. Always available when someone needed her. We worked, laughed and cried together, but the most beautiful thing I experienced from her were, her words of wisdom. RIP mi reina, you will always be in my heart!
