SPRINGFIELD- Nelly (Baez) Baez, 62, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Rafael Baez and Gloria (Rivera). Nelly was a warm, caring, dedicated wife and mother, her passion was her family.  She enjoyed cleaning and taking care of her plants and flowers but more than anything she loved spending time with her family.  She will be deeply missed by her husband; Angel Luis Baez of Holyoke; her sons; Angel Luis Baez of Springfield; Luis Rafael Baez of Boston; Luis Alberto Baez and his wife Alexandra of El Paso, TX; her daughters; Ines Baez of Holyoke; Maria Baez of Holyoke; Migdalia Rodriguez of Holyoke; Nelida (Baez) Gonzalez and her husband Ruben of Springfield; four brothers, one sister and her twenty three adored grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Nelly also leaves her extended family and many friends to cherish her memory. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 6 to 8pm at Templo Ebenezer Church, 200 Main Street, Holyoke, MA  01040.  The Funeral service and ceremony will begin on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 9:30 at the Templo Ebenezer Church and followed by the burial in Forestdale Cemetery, Cabot Street, Holyoke, MA.
